But I think it would be worth it. So, what do we have? A three storey period townhouse in Wiveliscombe with four bedrooms, a kitchen and utility, two living spaces, a spiral staircase, a bathroom (not photographed) and a rather lovely garden.
It looks to me like someone has start the project but has either bitten off more than they can chew, run out of money or has just had to call it quits. What this house has that many renovation projects don’t, is good bones (this is absolutely not a technical term nor accurate), sash windows all round, exposed floorboards – that need some tlc – curved ceilings, coving, high skirting, picture rails and couple of fireplaces.
