I’m not talking about selfies or holiday landscapes.
If you’re selling your home, investing in a good photographer or choosing an estate agent who you know takes quality shots is a pretty solid decision to make. They’ll know the best lighting, angles, and how to highlight your home’s features – hopefully period ones – the natural light from your sash windows, the ceiling roses in your living room, or the fireplace in your bedroom.
First impressions matter and if you’re selling, your photos are the first impression. Most buyers are scrolling through dozens (if not hundreds) of listings on rightmove and Zoopla, and your home has only a few seconds to make someone go ‘Ooooh’. I genuinely think better photos equals better results. More clicks, more viewings, and ultimately sell faster and maybe for a higher price.
So before your home goes live on rightmove or Zoopla, take a moment to ask yourself: are the photos doing it justice?
