I wasn’t 100% sure what to expect when I saw this house, and whilst I’m not surprised, I am at the same time.
The kerb appeal is there – sash windows forever – but it makes the house feel a bit mysterious, or is it just me? It’s Grade II listed, and inside we’ve got a bit of a canvas to work from, I think it’s intentionally minimal with neutral colours to optimise the exposed brick and wood. A large front room with a hefty Inglenook fireplace (and a record collection I’d like to raid, I think they’d have good taste), as well as reception room and a snug, all have high ceilings, fireplaces and bundles of natural light.
I adore the basement kitchen. It’s super cool styling and weirdly matches everything else. Upstairs we have two bedrooms, a three piece bathroom and an awesome loft space.
So yes, very interesting – I’d love to go see it. Up for £399,995 with Page & Co Property Services. Link.
