Imposing is it not,

From the outset this house feels dramatic (well to me at the very least), it’s described as a character cottage but I’m not sure it does it quite enough justice.

Grade II Listed, sash windows – hooray – and steps up for extra grandeur (or inconvenience, however you like to look at it). The inside, much like outside, is giving drama – deep, rich colour palettes, lived in and homely decor, accompanied by glorious features all round.

Personally, I love that there is a mix of flooring from Delabole slate, hardwood flooring and some carpet too (I’ll let them off). The outside the back is a proper garden, with a cosy courtyard and a lawn – perfect for eating alfresco and summer entertaining.
